My fourth annual tribute to my mother.
Since yesterday was Mothers Day and I don't get to celebrate it anymore since my mother has since passed, I've been taking The Monday Morning Breakfast Blends the day after mother's day and paying tribute to her by playing some of her favorite songs. My mother was a very musical person and I inherited my love of music from her. Because of her, I grew up exposed to some of the most beautiful songs in the great American songbook. I remember, as a child, I would beg my mother to turn off that horrible "old person's music". Now, of course, some 35 odd years later, it's the purest music I know. So here's hoping that wherever she may be, she's singing and dancing along.
